Trump Says If His Claims Of Election Fraud Are Right, Biden Didn't Win The Election
Even before Election Day, President Donald Trump indicated that he'd not accept election results if it didn't go in his favor. Keeping in line with his earlier warning, the president has refused to concede and isn't willing to acknowledge Joe Biden, a Democrat as the president-elect, claiming the other party stole the election from him.
Trump recently reiterated his baseless claims of the presidential election is rigged and subject to fraud. In a speech posted on official Twitter and Facebook pages, Trump said a lot of bad things happened during the recently concluded presidential election.
Touting it as the most important speech he has ever made, in his address, Trump argued that if they are right about the fraud, Biden can't take office. He went on to claim that hundreds of thousands of votes have been affected, noting that these are numbers like nobody has ever seen before.
The tweet, which included a link to Trump's Facebook page with the full video, was labeled by Twitter for disputed claims about election fraud. At the same time, Facebook noted that Biden is the projected winner of the 2020 presidential election. Taking a jab at the increase in absentee balloting and early voting due to the coronavirus pandemic, Trump noted that there used to be something called Election Day, but now they have election days, weeks, and months.
He went on to claim a lot of bad things took place during this ridiculous period of the presidential election. Trump said the mail and voting scam is part of the Democrats' four-year effort to reverse the 2016 election results, which saw him defeating Hillary Clinton by a noteworthy margin.
Moreover, the president said he is bent on protecting America's election system, adding that it is currently under siege and coordinated assault. Trump recorded this speech in the Diplomatic Room of the White House one day after Attorney General William Barr told the Associated Press that the F.B.I and the Justice Department have investigated into election fraud claims but did not find any evidence of fraud on a scale that could have led to a different outcome.
A significant number of Trump's own party members have separated themselves from his claims of voter fraud. Not only did Trump refused to concede to Biden, he and his legal team filed several lawsuits in some key battleground states in a bid to overturn the election results but failed to offer any evidence of fraud in the courts.
