Fans have wondered how her relationship with daughter Suri is now that she has a new man in her life. A source has claimed that the mother-daughter duo recently spent a peaceful weekend together in Upstate New York.

However, the chef did not happen to be with them. Holmes and her daughter were in NYC for their Thanksgiving. The same source insisted that the three of them were together on Saturday morning before the Dawson’s Creek alum and her daughter left for their weekend getaway, Elle reports. 

Reports have it that the celebrity chef “adores” Suri. It is important for Vitolo Jr. to get along with the 14-year-old as Holmes is a doting and fiercely protective mom. The actress also attaches high importance to spending alone time with her daughter. 

Fortunately for her, a source says that the celebrity chef and her daughter get along well. Although Holmes and Vitolo Jr. are inseparable these days, that does not mean Holmes does not want to be with her daughter too. 

An insider told Entertainment Tonight last month that the Jack and Jill actress and the chef were going strong. It also mentioned that Katie Holmes has spent a lot of time with her beau’s family. 

On the other hand, it is difficult for the chef to go to Ohio and spend time with Holmes’ family because of the coronavirus restrictions. For the universe, the mother-daughter duo prefers to visit Ohio during the vacation so that the teenager can enjoy with her grandparents and other relatives. 

Sources claim that the chef adores his new girlfriend and even treats her like a princess. On the other hand, Holmes is, reportedly, relaxed to have a guy in her life who is highly supportive of her.
