In every generation of the British Royal Family, there is always one member that is dubbed as the ‘rebel’ one. In Prince Charles's time, it was his younger brother, Prince Andrew, while in the Queen’s time, it was her own sister, the beautiful Princess Margaret.

Prince Harry has been dubbed as the ‘playboy’ royal in their generation. The Duke of Sussex, who is now no longer a working royal, has had his many headaches inducing moments.

Apparently, the Prince had a propensity to date actresses. Despite most of these were short-lived and did not get enough traction from the British media, the Palace was still quick to put a foot down on his antics.

Royal members ambiguously told the Prince to stop dating actresses with even Prince Philip, Harry’s grandfather, giving him a stark reminder of this matter.

"One steps out with actresses, one doesn't marry them,” Prince Philip allegedly said. This advice comes after Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth’s own horrors after the abdication of King Edward VIII from the throne.

When Prince Harry stepped out publicly with then ‘Suits’ actress Meghan Markle, it was a big hit for the media as this was somewhat a big ‘rebel’ move from Prince Harry.

What’s more shocking is Meghan Markle’s past. It surfaced that the actress was a divorcee already, and this amicably compared to Wallis Simpson, the woman that cause King Edward VIII’s abdication.

The Royal Firm believed that this was another short-lived relationship by Prince Harry. In several reports, royal experts have revealed that the Palace was not expecting the two to end up marrying.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s narrative closely resembles that of King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson’s relationship, and the two pairs have been compared to one another.

Wallis Simpson and Meghan Markle are both American and were married before falling in love with royal members of the British Monarchy.

Although Harry and Meghan Markle’s eventual separation from the royal firm was not as dramatic as that of the Edward’s and Wallis, the two still made sure they left with a splash.

Reasons behind the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's exit from the Royal life is not known, but it was heavily blamed on the media treatment of Meghan Markle.

In a statement made by Prince Harry at that time, he reveals that it took months for them to decide to leave the royal family.
