Kate Middleton, Prince William's 'Racy' Past Resurfaces: What Really Happened
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship is like every other normal relationship. The pair who started dating when they met at the University has endured many ups and downs.
Their most famous break from each other happened in April 2007, wherein the increasing pressure for Prince William to propose to Kate has gotten too much for the royal.
This breakup did not last long as the second-in-line to the British throne was, reportedly, in contact with the beautiful Kate Middleton in June.
Despite the short-lived break-up between the two, several scandals hounded the pair between April and June.
It was also revealed that during the months between Prince William was told that he could do better by his friends, but this thought did not sit right with William, and soon after, the two reconciled.
According to reports, the reconciliation of the two was nowhere close to boring. The royal pair got back together at a ‘racy’ party thrown by a close friend of Prince William, Sam Waley-Cohen.
The theme of the party attended by the two was ‘Freakin Naughty,’ where Kate Middleton donned a naughty nurse outfit and fish stockings, while Prince William attended as a policeman.
The royal pair were said to have kept to themselves and spent hours locked in deep conversation. Prince William was overheard by many of the attendees of the party, begging Kate to give him another chance.
DailyMail UK reports in detail how the party was ‘tasteless’ and had blow-up dolls hanging on the ceilings and sexy waitresses serving lethal cocktails.
Later on, Prince William spoke about the break-up revealing that he and Kate were finding themselves and being different characters.
"It was very much trying to find our own way, and we were growing up, so it was just a bit of space, and it worked out for the better,” Prince William addressed the break-up on their engagement interview.
The pair ended up getting engaged two years after. During those two years, Kate Middleton attended Prince William’s graduation from the Royal Air Force that solidified Kate’s place in the royal firm.
Kate’s parents were also in attendance that day, together with Prince Charles. The UK media went crazy after Kate was spotted in the bleachers watching Prince William graduating.
The royal pair are now happily married for over nine years, and share three children together, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2.
