As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry live their new normal life in California, the royal pair cannot escape the constant scrutiny of the UK media. Although reports of the couple have been fairly positive in the past few days after Meghan Markle’s revelation of her miscarriage, it is not surprising that Kate Middleton, Markle’s comparator, has been dragged back into the narrative.

The palace has been awfully sad on the Duke and Duchess’s news. Kate Middleton, who was accused of being an unsupportive sister-in-law to Meghan during her royal days, is alleged unfazed by the news.

Meghan and Kate were last seen together earlier this year during the celebration of Commonwealth Day Service, and body language experts noticed that the Duchess of Cambridge had a cold effect towards Markle.

Body language expert Mollie Birney shared that this was a stark contrast to how Kate greeted Meghan on Christmas Day 2018.

She continued to explain that the photos taken of Meghan Markle during Commonwealth Day were very concerning, as the Duchess put on an unwavering smile that seemed to be ‘forced.’

"Meghan continues to smile, despite being ignored by Kate, who makes absolutely no effort to make eye contact with her despite being well within her eye line. No one else around Meghan is smiling either, so it really does stand out,” Ms. Birney told Express UK.

Apparently, Meghan was smiling not out of happiness but as a mask to appear unfazed by being snubbed by other royal members.

Furthermore, compared to Meghan and Kate's photographs with their respective partners on Christmas Day 2018 in Sandringham Estate, the smile of Kate Middleton towards Meghan was more ‘warm and kind.’

There is no apparent context as to why royal pair, Kate Middleton and Prince William, and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a fallout.

Many experts believe that the rift between the brothers has been broiling even back to their younger years.

A reason often cited is Prince Harry’s action during his 20’s that has led to the embarrassment of the Palace and an official apology from the Royal Firm.

It is also believed that Prince William’s change of character after realizing his role as future King of the British Empire has greatly affected Prince Harry’s relationship with him.
