Prince Harry Allegedly 'Forced' Meghan To Write Miscarriage Article In Bid To Win Popularity Back
Meghan Markle revealing her miscarriage in the past week has opened up a brand new conversation of how Prince Harry and Meghan are approaching media.
Although it has been often perceived that Meghan Markle is the brainchild behind the many ‘public relation’ stunts of the couple, this time around, Prince Harry allegedly ‘convinced’ the Duchess of Sussex to write about their heartbreak over the summer.
The Duchess was praised for her strength and bravery as she wrote down in grim details in the New York Times article ‘The Loses We Share’ about her miscarriage in July.
Kate Nicholl, a correspondent for Vanity Fair, shares that Prince Harry played an integral role in relaying the sad news to the world, as he was the one who pushed Meghan Markle to write the article.
"Harry was involved. He didn't write it. He said to Meghan 'I think you should write about this miscarriage because if we can help another family going through this, then it is a reason to do it,” Nicholl said.
It is unclear whether the 39-year-old mother of one was mentally and emotionally ready to share the horrid experience with the world.
Many stars have come out with their miscarriage stories after Meghan Markle’s article was published. Apparently, a majority of these stars were not ready to share such horrible news for years.
Ms. Nicholl continued sharing that the couple is trying to reach out to an audience and is working on breaking taboos that surround mourning miscarriages and sharing the mental anguish that comes with it.
Both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are strongly supportive of many mental health organizations that raise awareness on such topics.
Furthermore, the royal pair has been very outspoken about their mental struggles before and after becoming working royals. During their time as senior royals, the two paired with Prince William and Kate Middleton on mental health awareness.
The royal family has been very silent regarding the news of Meghan Markle’s miscarriage. Rumors are circulating that the Palace is aware of what happened to the pair months ago.
The Queen has also been criticized for continuing to keep her mouth mum on the issue. Buckingham Palace has already issued a statement that the Queen will not comment on the topic.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently celebrated their first Thanksgiving in America as a family. After the positive feedback from Markle’s article, the couple has much to celebrate for their thanksgiving.
