Niecy Nash, Jessica Betts Celebrates First Thanksgiving After Marriage
The newlywed couple, Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts are spending quality time together during Thanksgiving. Yes, the married couple celebrated their first holiday season together in New Orleans. The 50-year-old comedian is currently filming Claws in Louisiana.
Nash ensured that the first celebration of Thanksgiving remains memorable as she documented the special occasion and later shared it on social media. In the sweet video, the 48-year-old singer and songwriter could be seen gifting flowers to her wife while Nash asked her wife where she is going on this festive.
The cute interaction between the newly married couple made fans go awe on Instagram. The couple got married in August amid the ongoing pandemic after spending time together in quarantine. Before bringing the flowers in, Nash and Betts shared a cute exchange of words in which Betts reveals that she is going to get her some flowers.
In the next clip, the adorable moment took place when Nash could not carry the bunch of bouquets brought by her lady love. While Nash didn't hold herself back from sharing several pictures and videos of the celebration, Betts kept the timeline simple on Instagram by adding a textual image that reads "woke up happy as sh-t."
She further wished her fans and followers a very happy Thanksgiving. A couple of months ago, the couple revealed on Good Morning America that their marriage surprised their fans. This marriage marked as first for Betts, but it’s not the same case for Nash as she has been married twice before.
Interestingly, the comedian has been married to men before, and in March, she got her divorce settled from Jay Tucker. The Never Have I Ever star was asked during the interview that marrying Betts is officially coming out of the closet, to which she replied in a humorous way.
"It has everything to do with being an amazing person, and she is the most beautiful soul I have ever met in my life," she said. Nash explained that she isn't coming out from anywhere as she was never repressed. She further said that her love has nothing to do with the gender of her spouse.
The couple met the first four years ago and became friends. However, the romance between them sparked amid the filming of the television series, Claws. Betts admitted that the moment she met Nash, she knew there was something as per People.
