Quarantine Leads To Arguments Between Kim Kardashian And Kanye West
With the global coronavirus pandemic forcing people to spend even more time with each other in their homes, it’s inevitable that couples will find something to nitpick about their significant other. It’s no different for celebrities, as it appears that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have begun to have more arguments ever since quarantine started.
Cosmopolitan reports that the extended time together is proving difficult for Kardashian in particular. With West supposedly in a creative mood, Kardashian has been left alone to handle their four children, North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint. This would not be an issue if Kardashian isn’t busy running her own beauty and fashion empire.
As pointed out by US Weekly, this isn’t the first time that the couple has encountered a rough patch in their marriage. The publication says that Kardashian felt trapped in the marriage back in 2016, but decided to play the role of the supportive wife instead as the rapper suffered a very public breakdown during that year.
Despite the frequent arguments, it seems that the couple may be working towards a compromise as West recently took some of their kids to Wyoming so that Kardashian could have some time on her own.
A break is certainly something that Kardashian would appreciate right now, as some of her social media moves have not been received as favorably by the general public. The recent launch of her KKWxKRIS fragrance some weeks ago resulted in netizen outrage, calling the move “tone-deaf” and “shameless.” Kardashian’s supposed “love of money” was also derided by commenters on her Instagram account.
The backlash was such that Kardashian was supposedly moved to add a charitable aspect to the sale. According to the 39-year-old, part of the proceeds from the KKWxKRIS fragrance would go to Blessings in a Backpack, which feeds children left hungry by school closures brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.
Aside from Kardashian and West, celebrity couple Florence Pugh and Zach Braff also faced some scrutiny during this period of quarantine. Pugh was forced to defend her relationship with Braff after commenters on her Instagram questioned the 21-year gap between their ages. Pugh is 24-years old while Braff is 45-years old.
With COVID-19 cases continuing to rise worldwide, Kardashian and West better settle their differences as their time in isolation may end up being extended. The Apr. 29 situation report from the World Health Organization pegs the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases around the world at 3,018,952 people. Deaths caused by COVID-19 are now at 207,953 people worldwide.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Apr. 29 update says there are now 1,005,147 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States. COVID-19 fatalities are now at 57,505 people.
