Fans of the hit sitcom Friends have been eagerly waiting for the much-anticipated reunion show. However, a tabloid claimed last year that one of its leading actors, Matthew Perry, is trying to sabotage the special show. 

The Friends reunion program has been rescheduled several times and a publication insists that Perry is being blamed for this delay. It seemed when the lead actors had a meeting with the writers, Perry was not excited about the ideas presented for the show. However, he did not have the support of the other actors who were also present there. 

The report further says that the Three to Tango star was so disillusioned with the writers that he decided to come out of the meeting before it got over. An insider alleged that his behavior saddened both Jennifer Aniston ,and Lisa Kudrow, who were also present in the meeting.

Meanwhile, his other two male co-stars Matt Le Blanc and Davis Schwimmer, were so upset with his behavior that they, allegedly, suggested chopping him off from the show altogether. 

However, the report appears to be phony as Perry has been as enthusiastic about the reunion show as his other former co-stars. Additionally, it has also been confirmed that all the original six lead actors will feature in the special reunion show, according to Gossip Cop.

 It is interesting to note that the show will be an unscripted one. So, it seems funny that the actor was disappointed with the writers’ preliminary ideas. 

According to Deadline, the magazine had perhaps overlooked the fact that it was Perry who came forward and gave an update on the expected date of airing for the much-anticipated reunion show on HBO Max to the fans.  

Matthew Perry took to his Tweeter handle on Nov. 12, 2020, to mention that he, as well as all the other co-stars of Friends, will be working on the show’s reunion at the beginning of 2021. For the universe, filming for the show had to be delayed amid the outbreak of the COVID-19. The actor revealed that the reunion has now been rescheduled for March next year. 

Meanwhile, the actor revealed some happy news in his personal life. Perry told People Magazine that he made up his mind to get engaged. He called his fiancée the “greatest woman” on earth while announcing the good news. 

The 51-year-old actor proposed to his 29-year-old girlfriend Molly Hurwitz, and the outlet confirmed the news on Thursday. Matthew Perry and his girlfriend have been, reportedly, dating since 2018.
