Meghan Markle Accused Of Terminating Her Pregnancy After Sharing Heartbreaking News About Her Miscarriage
Online trolls are still out to get Meghan Markle after she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in July.
On Twitter, user @sanjbommisetty called out one of Markle’s critics for accusing her of terminating her pregnancy and then saying that she had a miscarriage.
“Is this some kind of joke? Since when is she so heartbroken over a miscarriage? She had to terminate the baby before we all knew,” Twitter user @mocci36b wrote.
The other Twitter user said that she couldn’t believe many people are sending Markle so much hate even after they learned about her miscarriage.
Chrissy Teigen, who also lost her son, Jack, two months ago, called out another user for mocking Markle’s miscarriage.
But John Legend’s wife, later on, deleted her tweet and said that she’s trying to be nicer.
Another Twitter user accused Markle of using her miscarriage as a PR tool. Others also accused her of being an attention seeker.
Twitter user @dontjudgebylook couldn’t believe how a lot of trolls lambasted Markle after they learned about her miscarriage. But they are the same people that sent their condolences to Kate Middleton and Prince William when their dog died.
Meanwhile, some critics of Markle couldn’t understand why she would open up about such a controversial matter via an op-ed piece for the New York Post when she and Prince Harry want to be private individuals.
Other supporters pointed out that Markle isn’t the only royal family member who suffered a miscarriage. Zara Tindall and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, also lost their unborn child.
In 2001, Prince Edward’s wife reportedly collapsed at home and lost her unborn child to an ectopic pregnancy.
Tindall, on the other hand, suffered two miscarriages in the past. Two years ago, she told The Sunday Times that the hardest thing about losing her baby was having to tell everyone about what happened.
In related news, Queen Elizabeth and the other royal family members are being criticized for not offering their love and support to Markle publicly.
However, it is possible that the royal family sympathized with Prince Harry and Markle privately.
It is important to note that members of the royal family do not normally comment on controversial and personal matters. When Sophie and Tindall suffered a miscarriage, the queen and the other royal family members didn’t post about the tragedy on their social media accounts.
