It is reported that Prince Andrew was allegedly rude to one of the senior staff members of the Palace when the latter wished him good morning.

A Daily Mirror reporter called Ryan Parry took up a job in the Palace in 2003. Parry wanted to find out whether there is any flaw in the Palace security and worked there for a couple of months. Along with several other stories and gossips about the British Royal Family, he reported a scandalous tale of how a senior footman told him that he was being snubbed by the Duke of York on one occasion.

A documentary titled “Royal Servants” was uploaded on YouTube in 2011. Parry shared in this documentary how a footman wished Good morning your Royal Highness” to which the Prince responded: “F*** off!”

The reporter explained that a footman has to carry a calling tray to the private bedroom of a royal member. He shared that on one particular occasion, he remembers a senior footman telling him that he was snubbed by the Duke of York when he opened his bedroom’s curtains and wished him good morning.

Parry further indicated that it was not a stray incident because Andrew has been notorious for “being coarse and demanding” among staff. Some of the staff at the Palace gates remarked on how the Duke of York would drive so fast in his Aston Martin that even the cops would stand back.

Incidentally, Prince Andrew recently grabbed headlines for his alleged closeness to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile. He has stepped back from his royal engagements after that.

However, it is not only the Duke who has earned a reputation for being rude to the staff. Princess Anne, his sister, has allegedly admonished a household member by calling the person a “f***ing incompetent t***”.

Parry has shared several other interesting gossips and tidbits during his tenure at the Palace. He mentioned how it was his responsibility to lay the breakfast table for Queen Elizabeth II, Daily Express reports. The reporter shared Her Majesty would give the toast to her favorite corgis while having her breakfast.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice, who is the eldest child of Prince Andrew and his former wife Sarah Ferguson, might not be able to retain a hereditary royal title. Her father was given a dukedom by the Queen the day he got married in 1986. Ever since Andrew has been the Duke of York.

According to Daily Express, although a dukedom is a hereditary title, the Princess might not inherit Prince Andrew’s title after his death because of a simple reason. When the Dukedom of York was created, the Letters Patent says that only male heirs will inherit that title. It also means that her father’s dukedom might pass onto a different member of the Royal Family
