Kate Middleton was still, allegedly, pining for her ex-boyfriend, Harry Blakelock when she met Prince William.

One of Middleton’s friends from Marlborough College told Daily Mail that Middleton hasn’t gotten over Blakelock when she met Prince William.

The unnamed friend also said that Middleton didn’t go to the University of St. Andrews because Prince William was studying there.

After all, the Duchess of Cambridge was still trying to get back together with Blakelock then.

Middleton’s friend revealed that Blakelock froze the future queen consort out of nowhere. And he just suddenly became cold towards Middleton.

While in school, Prince William’s wife, allegedly, kept talking about how she would get back together with her ex-boyfriend.

Royal author Katie Nicholl previously talked about Middleton and Blakelock’s relationship by saying that they were together for a year.

And even though they were both busy with school, Middleton and Blakelock, reportedly, vowed to make their relationship work.

However, Blakelock eventually decided to travel the world during his gap year so he had to call it quits with Middleton. Two years after their split, Middleton met Prince William.

Shortly after, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got into a relationship and the rest was history for them.

As for Middleton and Blakelock, the two remain friends today. In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge invited Blakestock to their royal wedding in 2011.

Blakelock ended up marrying Middleton’s good friend, Sarah Follett.

Meanwhile, Middleton isn’t the only one who had relationships before meeting Prince William. The Duke of Cambridge also dated a slew of women before tying the knot with his wife.

According to reports, Prince William’s first love was Rose Farquhar. The two met during the former’s gap year in 2000.

Farquhar is still friends with Prince William and Middleton. In fact, she attended the couple’s wedding at Westminster Abbey.

Prince William also dated Jecca Craig. And just like Farquhar, their relationship was also brief. Craig also attended his royal wedding to Middleton.

According to Cheat Sheet, most of Prince William’s relationships before Middleton were casual in nature.

He dated Arabella Musgrave, Carly Massy-Birch, and Olivia Hunt over short periods of time.

Prince William eventually became drawn to Middleton after seeing her at a school fashion show. The Duchess of Cambridge donned skimpy attire as she sashayed on the catwalk.

During their 10-year relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, Prince William and Middleton broke up twice.
