The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was one of the most awaited events in 2018. He is the second prince of the direct heir to the British throne, who said goodbye to his bachelor life.

This event made history for being a forward-thinking celebration of the old-fashioned royal ceremonies. But, several of the antics made by Meghan and Harry were not fully celebrated by some senior royal members.

Royal biographer Sean Smith revealed that both Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker-Bowles tried not to make eye contact during the ceremony so they would not erupt in fits of giggles.

In his newest book "Meghan Misunderstood," the author went into details regarding the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

According to him, moments that reflected the two "woke" royal's views included the exquisite playing of cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, the Kingdom Choir singing "Stand By Me" acapella and the passionate sermon by the Most Rev Michael Curry on the power of love.

But, Smith also took note of each royal’s reaction to the nontraditional wedding ceremony. He described them to have looked "fascinated," "pompous," and "gobsmacked."

Furthermore, he observed that Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker-Bowles were confused and almost on the verge of laughing.

“Prince Charles read and re-read the order of service as if it was the latest issue of Country Life magazine; his wife Camilla and Kate Middleton were desperately trying not to make eye contact with each other,” Smith wrote in "Meghan Misunderstood."

Later on, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were heavily criticized for trying too hard to be "different" with their wedding ceremony, and it ended up being a "disaster."

While Smith believes that the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge were not impressed with Meghan Markle’s choices, this is a claim that is hard to prove.

Smith also explained that Kate and Camilla have created a close bond over the years as part of the royal family.

The two, who will be taking on the same roles in the future, have been working with each other to better the royal firm’s approach to modern women.

Meghan’s role in the royal family was very short as she and Prince Harry only became working royals for a year and a half.

Despite rumors of Meghan’s relationship with Kate and maybe that of Camilla being not too great, it is far out to accuse Kate and Camilla of ganging up on Meghan during her wedding.

Meghan Markle, together with Prince Harry, has since quit the royal firm and are now based in California.
