Will Smith rose to fame in 1990 when he played a young man shooting the basketball and got into a fight with kids of his age in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. After 30 years, the cast members of the sitcom came together on HBO Max for a reunion.

In fact, the comedy series has developed a new set of viewers through the online streaming platform. All the cast members shared their experience working on the series and how it changed their lives. However, one of the segments, which turned out to be the highlight was watching original Aunt Vivian portrayed by Janet Hubert and Smith.

The 64-year-old actress exited the sitcom after being part of it for three seasons initially. However, she was replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid, and since then, there was a feud between Hubert and Smith that went public.

Smith disclosed that it would have been difficult for him to celebrate Fresh Prince without celebrating the show's first aunt. Before the reunion went streamed, fans wondered if this reunion will look like the Oprah Winfrey Show moment or the Real Housewives reunion. Thankfully, it was similar to the first one.

Hubert disclosed that she never witnesses anyone like her portraying a character like Aunt Vivian. She described her character as a dark-skinned woman who was a good mother and a good role model, regal, and professional.

No wonder Hollywood hasn't seen an actress like Hubert as she was a trailblazer back in the 90s. In fact, when the series launched, she immediately became a household name and popular. She was the one who could not only act but dance and sing.

However, after season three, she left the show, and Smith admitted that he isn't aware of her side of the story. Hubert explained to Smith that she was pregnant, while many things created friction between her and the Men in Black star's life.

“I was no longer laughing, joking, smiling because there were things going on that nobody knew about,” she explained. Smith confessed further that he was not sensitive towards Hubert during her pregnancy.

However, he said that he wouldn't have made it difficult for Hubert if he were mature enough like now. The Not Another Black Movie star said that during the third season, they offered Hubert a horrible deal, which she couldn't go ahead with, and that eventually got her replaced.
