Keanu Reeves has not only been in the news for his film violating the COVID-19 norms but has constantly grabbed headlines also for his relationship with his reported girlfriend, Alexandra Grant. A certain tabloid insisted a year ago that the Hollywood A-lister planned to have a secret wedding with Grant at Malibu. 

While the shooting of The Matrix 4 is underway in Germany, reports have it that a wrap party was organized where more than 200 people attended. The party, reportedly, broke the COVID-19 laws of the country. 

The shooting for the film resumed after the COVID restrictions in the country were relaxed, Pinkvilla reports. The film’s cast and crew attended the controversial party and supposedly did not follow the rules which are in place. 

Even Reeves attended the party along with his girlfriend Grant. The party was hosted at Babelsberg film studios, which is close to Central Berlin. 

Speaking of Reeves and Grant, the actor, allegedly, planned for a wedding on the sly at Malibu, according to a report published last year. The article alleged that the Speed actor wanted to have hush-hush nuptials at Malibu, one of California's most famous beaches. 

It was true that the John Wick actor and the visual artist have been close for many years. However, the magazine claimed that the pair was willing to take their relationship to the next level.

The tabloid further purported that Reeves proposed to Grant at a romantic candlelight dinner, and his girlfriend was more than happy to accept his proposal. It quoted unnamed sources purporting that the actor popped up the question with an exorbitantly priced engagement ring. 

What was more interesting was the insiders seemed to know everything about the wedding details, starting from when it will be held to how many guests will attend it. Isn’t it strange that on the one hand, the magazine insists that it will be a secret wedding; while on the other hand, all the details of the wedding were divulged by Keanu Reeves?

For the universe, the star and his girlfriend have a strong bond over their shared liking for literature and art. They share several common interests and even published a picture book for the grownups together. 

Reeves and Grant did not confirm their relationship when the piece was published. The visual artist only confirmed the news at an interview this year (via Vogue). She further spoke about her long-standing friendship with the actor. 

There is no solid piece of evidence to substantiate that Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant had planned to tie the knot last year. The story about their hush-hush beach wedding was incorrect and ridiculous (via Gossip Cop).
