Ellen DeGeneres allegedly wants Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt to reconcile romantically so she’s planning a meeting with them.

According to Closer UK, friends of Aniston and Pitt were worried that the exes would have a falling out after the latter got into a relationship with Nicole Poturalski.

But now that Pitt and the 27-year-old model are no longer together, his and Aniston’s friends are thinking of ways to salvage the exes’ relationship.

A source claimed that DeGeneres invited Aniston and Pitt over to her mansion in Santa Barbara so they could have a good chat. The comedian allegedly wants the A-listers to be able to catch up with each other while in a comfortable and quiet environment.

Meanwhile, Matthew McConaughey is allegedly rooting for Aniston and Pitt to get back together. Following their Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read, the actor weighed in on Aniston and Pitt’s chemistry. He said that the exes’ connection is still palpable.

The source claimed that McConaughey knew that fans of Aniston and Pitt would be thrilled with his comment. After all, it suggests that there’s some hope for the two to get back together.

McConaughey also allegedly knew that Aniston and Pitt would think that his comments were funny so it would break the ice between them.

Friends of Aniston and Pitt are allegedly hoping for a reunion between the two because they’re both single. The Friends star has been single since 2018 following her divorce from Justin Theroux.

Pitt, on the other hand, is recently single after his split from Poturalski.

According to Page Six, Pitt and Poturalski’s relationship was never that serious, to begin with. And a source also told the publication that the couple split a long time ago.

However, there is no proof that DeGeneres and McConaughey are trying to get Aniston and Pitt back together. What is only known is that DeGeneres is close to Aniston. And McConaughey recently worked with the exes.

Last year, National Enquirer claimed that de Rossi wanted to split from DeGeneres after seeing her and Aniston’s kiss on Ellen Show. The Scandal star was allegedly jealous of the A-listers’ closeness.

However, the rumor-debunking site denied the allegations by saying that de Rossi and DeGeneres are still together. And the Ally McBeal star must have been aware that DeGeneres and Aniston’s kiss didn’t have any malice.
