While Katie Holmes is known for her elegant dressing sense, she preferred to sport a casual chic look while enjoying her walk with beau Emilio Vitolo Jr. in New York City. 

She preferred to show off her toned midriff by sporting a black crop top during the outing this Tuesday. The Dawson’s Creek alum was spotted on a stroll with her reported boyfriend Vitolo Jr. in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. 

The Batman Begins actress wore a pair of baggy black slacks to complement her cropped tank top. She wore multiple neckpieces and donned a pair of casual white sneakers. Her dark locks were styled in a ponytail and she accessorized her outfit with a brown leather handbag. 

Meanwhile, the celebrity chef also preferred a casual look for the stroll. He wore a white shirt and a set of black sweatpants. He completed his look with a white cap and a pair of white trainers. 

The duo did not forget to wear black masks for safety reasons amid the outbreak of COVID-19. The pair seemed to be proceeding towards home to enjoy a meal as Vitolo Jr. was holding takeout boxes during the walk. 

The Jack and Jill actress and her rumored boyfriend were earlier seen at Emilio’s restaurant where they had a cozy meal. The restaurant is owned by his dad while Vitolo Jr. works there as the chef. Reports have it that Vitolo Sr. sits near the door and decides which guest will occupy what table and in what sequence.

The restaurant is frequented by a host of celebrities who love to savor some of the popular classic Italian delicacies served here. The celebrity guests include Hollywood A-listers Bradley Cooper and Tom Hanks, as well as, former President Barack Obama, Daily Mail reports. 

Katie Holmes wore a denim jacket initially during her date. However, she took it off later and placed it inside her handbag. Emilio Vitolo Jr. and Holmes met last year for the first time but became an item in September this year. 

However, the chef’s mom Lourdes is reportedly not in favor of her son’s romance with the Batman Begins actress, Page Six wrote. The age difference between the two could be a possible reason for her alleged disapproval. 

Meanwhile, the actress is counting her blessings even amid the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020. While writing an article for the November issue of Vogue Australia, the mom-of-one revealed how she quarantined during the COVID-19 lockdown. 

The 41-year-old actress explained that the pandemic allowed her to spend more quality time with her 14-year-old daughter Suri Cruise. Katie Holmes believes that the bonding time with her daughter during this unusual time was the “most precious gift” for her.
