Kate Middleton and Camilla are, allegedly, fighting over the crown and who they think is better suited to succeed Queen Elizabeth.

According to In Touch Weekly, the queen’s health is deteriorating. And the royal family is aware that the monarch doesn’t have long to live.

As such, Her Majesty is already planning what’s next for the monarchy while she’s still alive. And she, allegedly, wants Middleton to become queen and not Camilla.

However, the Duchess of Cornwall, allegedly, knows that she has the right to be named as queen because she’s legally married to Prince Charles. And Camilla, allegedly, fears that her husband will be bypassed because by Prince William and Middleton because this is what the queen wants.

As such, Camilla, allegedly, confronted Middleton about the whole ordeal. And there’s chaos in the palace.

To make things worse, the queen’s health is deteriorating. And she’s also, allegedly, stressed due to Prince Andrew’s scandal and Prince Harry’s Megxit. And now Camilla and Middleton’s feud is causing her even more problems.

The source said that the royal family is concerned about the queen, but Camilla’s only concern is the crown. In fact, the Duchess of Cornwall is also, allegedly, making sure that she will be styled as queen consort and not as a princess consort.

Shortly after Prince Charles and Camilla tied the knot in 2005, Clarence House released a statement saying that the latter will be known as a princess consort. However, tabloids continued to allege that Camilla will be known as queen consort.

As such, Clarence House was forced to issue a rebuttal. They said that the plan is for Camilla to be styled as a princess consort when Prince Charles ascends the throne, and this hasn’t changed over the years.

The statement from Clarence House proves that the tabloid’s claims are incorrect. It is unlikely for Camilla to be fighting for her queen consort title when she herself knows that she will be styled as a princess consort.

As for Camilla and Middleton’s feud, this is an old and tiresome storyline concocted by the tabloids. The two female royals aren’t fighting over the crown because Camilla will become a princess consort first before Middleton is named queen consort.

After all, Camilla is married to Prince Charles, who is the heir to the throne. And after Prince Charles dies or abdicates, Prince William will become king. And it is only during this time that Middleton will be known as queen consort.
