Tom Cruise is allegedly still single eight years after his divorce from Katie Holmes. According to Woman’s Day, finding love has been very difficult for Cruise because of his religion. The Mission: Impossible star has been the poster child for Scientology for years.

A source claimed that Cruise’s involvement in the religion is limiting his options for a bride. After all, most women are scared to join Scientology.

The insider also claimed that even if Cruise is interested in someone, the woman immediately becomes thrown off due to the expectation that she would become the crown princess of Scientology if she weds the actor.

But despite the challenges in finding love, Cruise doesn’t allegedly have any plans to quit his religion. After all, he would choose Scientology at any given time over finding a woman that he could spend the rest of his life with.

As for his ex-wife, Holmes, the actress has long moved on from the actor. Following their divorce, the Dawson’s Creek star dated Jamie Foxx.

The couple kept their relationship a secret for years until shortly before they split. And it didn’t take Holmes very long to move on from Foxx. The actress is now dating Emilio Vitolo.

Meanwhile, Cruise made headlines recently amid reports that he’s interested in dating two of his female co-stars. New Idea reported that Cruise is torn between Vanessa Kirby and Hayley Atwell.

A source told the tabloid that Cruise has been flirty with both of his female co-stars. However, it seems that he’s more attracted to Kirby because of their history.

As for Hayley, who is relatively new to the industry, she’s allegedly thrilled that Cruise has taken an interest in her.

However, Cruise hasn’t professed his feelings for his Mission: Impossible co-stars, which means that there’s a possibility that the tabloid’s claims are just made-up.

In 2014, Cruise said that dating isn’t his priority. After all, he’s already been married thrice. The actor first wed Mimi Rogers in 1987, and they split in 1990. Rogers was also the one that introduced him to Scientology.
