The Duchess of Cambridge was seen celebrating Remembrance day donning a bespoke Catherine Walker black coat with three poppies pinned on her left shoulder.

Immediately it was noticed that Kate was wearing Queen Elizabeth’s diamond and pearl drop earrings, a piece of jewelry that is said to be one of the Queen’s favorite.

Both the Queen and Kate Middleton have donned the piece of jewelry only for special occasions.

According to royal experts, this trust handed by the Queen to Kate Middleton is a big sign that the monarch has high respect for the wife of Prince William.

The Duchess also wore this particular drop earring when she left Lindo Wing after the birth of Prince Louis in 2018. The Queen was spotted wearing the piece of jewelry during her Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012.

Despite the Duchess of Cambridge coming from a commoner background, she has been doing well to adjust to the royal life, becoming one of the Queen’s most trusted confidante.

There have also been rumors that the Queen is mentoring the future Queen to be personally more than she is leading Camilla Parker-Bowles.

It has been several occasions already that the Queen shows preference to Kate Middleton than to Prince Charles’s partner and the Queen to be after the monarch. This shows that a part of Queen Elizabeth is still wary of Camilla and Charles’s relationship.

Other instances of the Queen's trust in Kate shining through was during the Chelsea Flower Show wherein Kate noticeably kissed the Queen on the cheek first before curtsying, a big difference from other royal members who are ordered to curtsy first.

Kate’s choice of jewelry and her wardrobe has been seen to be efficiently evolving throughout the years, and royal experts believe that the Duchess is being prepared more than ever to become the Queen soon.
