Prince Charles Allegedly Begs Meghan Markle To Let Him, Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth See Archie
Prince Charles is allegedly worried that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip will never see Archie again.
According to New Idea, the heir to the throne is begging Meghan Markle to allow him and his parents to see Archie. After all, it’s been almost a year since they last saw the adorable 1-year-old.
While speaking with the tabloid, royal commentator Phil Dampier said that Prince Charles must be said to not be able to see his grandson.
Even though he sees Archie on video calls like Zoom and FaceTime, this is still different from being able to hug Prince Harry and Markle’s son.
But due to COVID-19, it is still impossible for the future king to reunite with his grandson.
Dampier said that next year, Prince Harry will return to the United Kingdom for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue. However, there is still no guarantee that Markle and Archie will join him at the event.
According to People, Prince Harry requested to lay a wreath at the London Remembrance Day Ceremony last weekend, but the palace turned down his request. As such, it’s unclear if the palace will allow him to take part in the unveiling of Princess Diana’s status next year.
Meanwhile, Daily Mail recently revealed that Prince Charles is not thrilled that he hasn’t seen Archie in so long.
Even before Prince Harry and Markle announced their decision to quit The Firm, Prince Charles didn’t already have the chance to spend time with his grandson. In November 2019, the palace announced that the Sussexes will be celebrating Christmas in Canada with Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland.
Two months later, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their Megxit, and they relocated to Toronto shortly after. After almost three months of living in Canada, the Sussexes relocated to the United States.
In March, the coronavirus pandemic hit the entire world, so it has been impossible for Prince Charles to reunite with Prince Harry, Markle, and Archie.
A source told Daily Mail earlier this month that Prince Charles enjoyed visiting Archie at Frogmore Cottage before his parents relocated to the United States. Since it’s been months since he last saw his grandson, Prince Charles couldn’t help but feel sad since he’s missed much of Archie’s development.
The source also said that the other members of the royal family are also sad that they’ve not seen Archie in so long. And Prince Harry also reportedly feels sad because he has always wanted to raise his son together with Prince William’s kids.
