Princess Diana has been linked to a slew of men while she was still married to Prince Charles. And there were also claims that she also had an affair just like Prince Charles.

But according to Globe, the heir to the throne lied about who had an affair first during one of his conversations with Prince William.

When the Duke of Cambridge was much younger, Prince Charles, allegedly, told his son that he’s too honorable to have an affair. And it was only because he found out that Princess Diana was having a fling with other men that he decided to have an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles.

But the tabloid claimed that this couldn’t have been farther from the truth. After all, Prince Charles and Camilla have known each other since the 1970s. And their affair started shortly after the Prince and Princess of Wales tied the knot in 1981.

In 1994, Prince Charles spoke with journalist Jonathan Dimbleby about his affair with Camilla. The interviewer asked the dad of two if he has always been faithful to his wife, and Prince Charles said yes.

However, the future king also said that he was faithful to Princess Diana until he realized that their marriage was irretrievably broken down.

Meanwhile, Princess Diana has been accused of having affairs with other men while Prince Charles was busy with Camilla. During her interview with Panorama, the late royal admitted that she had an affair with James Hewitt.

And Princess Diana’s former security officer, Ken Wharfe, said in the book Diana: Closely Guarded Secret that the late royal became so drawn to Hewitt because he showered her with affection.

However, Princess Diana and Hewitt’s affair caused one of the biggest controversies in the royal family. Until today, there are claims that Princess Diana and Hewitt had an affair before Prince Harry was born.

Since the Duke of Sussex and Hewitt are both redheads, some tabloids are convinced that they are related to each other.

Three years ago, Hewitt denied that he’s the father of Prince Harry. While speaking with Sunday Night, the interviewer asked Hewitt straight out if he’s the father of Prince Harry, and he said no.

Interviewer Melissa Doyle then asked Hewitt why he thinks the rumors continue to make headlines. And Hewitt said that it’s because such stories sell papers.

During the same interview, Hewitt also admitted that he fell deeply in love with Princess Diana.
