The royal wives of Prince Harry and Prince William have often been relegated against one another by the UK media. This is only one of the many reasons why Harry and Meghan left their royal life and wanted out.

Kate Middleton’s rank in the royal family has only begun to ascend. As the wife of the future King of England, there was a heavy predisposing like towards her, but for Meghan, there was none.

As a royal spare, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were often put in the back, they were not a priority to the royal firm and thus, their place was not on the front lines.

In one of the most obvious decadence of power, Meghan Markle’s place in the royal family was painted in one photo.

During the 2019 Remembrance Day celebration, the royal family would stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. The tiny balconies that the building boasts have often been designated to royal depending on their rank.  

The Queen, Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker-Bowles stood together on the main balcony of the event. At the same time, Meghan Markle was wedged between Sophie Wessex, Prince Andrew and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, husband of Prince Anne, on the second balcony.

The photo taken depicted the somber face of Meghan Markle was a stark comparison of that from the jovial effect of Kate Middleton.

Clearly, Meghan Markle was considered a plus one on the event, nothing but the wife of the spare prince.

This has clearly created a massive problem with Meghan Markle as the ex-actress believed that she and Prince Harry were to play a bigger role in the royal family.

Another instance where it was clearly known that Prince Harry and Meghan were not important in the royal firm's hierarchy was a photo between the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George.

The photo, which was the first of its kind, depicted the royal hierarchy of the direct descendants. Prince Harry was not part of this photo, which is understood to have been a swipe at his status.

Kate Middleton’s part in the firm will only become bigger and bigger as her husband’s rank rises. One day she will become Queen Consort.

On the other hand, Meghan and Harry’s place in the royal institution will slowly dissolve till they are of no importance.

It is no question why Meghan and Harry left the family while they could. Now, the royal pair are in America and living as private citizens.
