While fans often care about their favorite celebrity, rare celebs care about their fans equally. BTS' Suga is one of those pop stars who ensures that his fans stay up-to-date about their work and health. Recently, the 27-year-old South Korean rapper went under shoulder surgery while he informed his fans that he would be away from his band for some time.

The rapper's label company, Big Hit Entertainment, revealed the surgery through an announcement on Nov. 3 on Weverse. The statement revealed that the pop star has dealt with wellness and health issues for a long time.

However, now that the surgery has successfully addressed the issue, he has been healing and resting as per the doctor's advice. The statement further noted that Suga had been strictly advised by the physician to take proper rest to get recovered.

Besides the company, Suga also continued the statement and urged his fans to understand that this is the chance for him to ensure that he is healthy to meet his fans again. He further politely asked his fans to wait for him until he returns though he will be leaving for a short period of time.

The rapper also posted a separate message to his fans on the Korean app in his native language. He wrote that the surgery was a success but he is in pain at the moment. However, he admitted that mentally he feels quite relieved.

While he mentioned again that he would be away for some time as he needs time to recover completely, he also apologized to his fans for the inconvenience and thanked them, addressing as "ARMY."

The rapper has addressed his shoulder problem in one of his singles before titled The Last in 2016. The song literally translated as "My shoulder which shattered." The song further revealed that it happened during an accident he met while doing a part-time job. The actor appeared on Burn the Stage in 2018, where he disclosed how the accident took place.

"Turns out he used to be a delivery boy while he was a trainee and after being hit by a car, his shoulder dislodged," Stated on the episode. Even during the virtual show, Map of the Soul ON:E performed by BTS, and the fans noticed that the rapper looked uncomfortable. Later, he admitted that he wasn't able to perform properly due to pain in his shoulder.
