Palace Report: Prince William's Secret Battle With Covid Revealed But What About Kate And The Kids
Shocking news has been revealed by Buckingham Palace today after they exposed that Prince William was struck by COVID last April.
According to reports by The Sun, the 2nd-in-line to the throne got the virus back in April, only days after Prince Charles was announced to have contracted it as well.
The Palace only publicized the awful event after Prince William requested that his diagnosis be kept a secret as ‘to not alarm the nation.’
Prince Charles's diagnosis, on the other hand, was immediately released to the public in a bid to strengthen the safety reasons imposed by the government.
Royal insiders have shared that Prince William’s viral strain was a strong one, and at some point, the future King of England ‘was struggling to breathe.’
"At one stage, he was struggling to breathe, so obviously everyone around him was pretty panicked,” The source shared.
Prince William’s immediate family, including wife Kate Middleton and their three children, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, were all tested for the virus.
Buckingham Palace announced that Kate and all their royal children, fortunately, did not contract the virus. The same with Camilla Parker-Bowles, Prince Charles's wife.
But Prince William was said to be determined to do his royal duties despite getting knocked hard by the virus.
Sources reveal that the Prince wanted to show the nation that they can get through the pandemic. The Prince was able to do 14 telephone and virtual engagements over April, of which he contracted the virus.
He was also treated privately by Palace doctors and followed government guidelines by self-isolating for 14 days.
Prince William and Kate Middleton spent their lockdown in Anmer Hall, which gave the family the privacy that they needed. This also meant that William’s diagnosis was easy to hide.
Prince Charles quarantine was in Highgrove Castle while Camilla Parker-Bowles stayed in their London house, Clarence House.
This news comes as a shock to the British Nation as both heirs to the throne were in danger at some point during the lockdown.
The possibility of Prince William getting a severe type of COVID is unlikely, but there was a minute possibility of the Prince to have deteriorated.
Now, fears over the Queen’s health have exponentially increased as she begins to return to her duties as a monarch. Last month, she was joined by Prince William in an important engagement.
