Royal Shock: Is Queen Elizabeth Purposely Omitting Prince Harry And Meghan Markle In Royal History?
Queen Elizabeth II has been the reigning monarch of the British royal family for over 60 years now. She has become the foundation of the royalty’s success in the new world. Yet, there have been instances where the Queen’s ruthlessness seeped through.
Understandably, the monarch was largely disappointed at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The royal pair’s decision to leave the royal folds cost the monarchy a large chunk of their popularity.
According to Robert Lacey in his new book ‘Battle of Brothers,’ it is not shocking that the Queen purposely excluded the Sussex’s in an important royal family event.
One of the Queen's most wicked actions against grandchild Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was omitting photos of them during her annual Christmas broadcasted message.
Eagle-eyed fans reportedly did not see a single photo of the Sussex’s in the Queen’s television broadcast but all the other family members' photos were displayed.
Lacey believes that the 2019 Christmas message purposely left the Sussex’s out as a bid to show the displeasure of the monarch towards their choice of continuing to go against royal traditions.
“Who does and who does not feature on the royal Christmas desk has always been like the changing panorama of faces on the historic balcony of Moscow’s Kremlin. It showed who was in favor and who was not,” Lacey wrote in ‘Battle of Brothers’.
During this time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle declined the Queen’s invitation to join the annual royal Christmas holiday in Sandringham. Instead, the couple flew to Canada to celebrate Christmas privately.
There was also the incident with Archie Harrison’s birth announcement. Noticeably the palace was not so jovial announcing the birth of the newest royal baby.
No dedicated announcement of his arrival in the royal folds was released, and allegedly the Queen was not as thrilled about the news than the Cambridge’s baby announcements.
Other than that, the Queen also barred Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from using ‘royal’ in their brand and commercial ventures.
The pair’s Sussex Royal has been scratched off from the royal family's official matters and it left the couple’s Sussex title worthless for their use.
Yet, Harry and Meghan continue to use their titles in official business outside of the royal family, which has gathered them great criticisms.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has since left the royal family and have started a new life in California.
