The couple confirmed their engagement news by posting an adorable photo on their respective Instagram accounts after Shelton took permission from Gwen's father to propose to the Don't Speak alum, Us Weekly reported.

Shelton, who played a vital role in helping Stefani to take care of her children during the quarantine, recently made it clear that the kids were involved in every step of the engagement process. An insider told Entertainment Tonight that the country singer is very close to Gwen's children.

Shelton ensured that they were a part of the process and talked it with the boys. He even got a customized engagement ring from the designer that had made bracelets for Stefani in the past. Stefani has three children, Apollo, 6, Zuma, 12, and Kingston, 14, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
