Blake Shelton surely understands the importance of the proposal day in a lady's life. The 44-year-old singer went the extra mile to ensure that he seek help from the best people as he planned to propose to Gwen Stefani.

Shelton and Stefani have been quarantined together and working together on The Voice as coaches. However, the singer finally asked the 51-year-old singer and songwriter for her hand to get married and she said, yes please.

The couple shared a picture on Instagram post-proposal in which Stefani could be seen flaunting the finger with the ring while kissing Shelton. The singer also strikes a stunning pose while kissing his bride-to-be.

He kept one hand in his pocket while comforted Stefani with another in the lovely picture. Both the musicians could be seen donning casual outfits during the special moment. While Stefani said "yes please" along with the sweet photo, Shelton also posted the same picture and captioned with a thank you note to Stefani for saving his 2020 and entire life.

The couple first met on the set of The Voice back in 2015 and soon they became partners. Both the singers successfully collaborated on several projects and delivered tracks such as Make Me Love You and Turnin' Me On.

The duo also performed together on duets such as If I'm Honest, Go Ahead and Break My Heart, and You Make It Feel Like Christmas from Shelton's album released in 2016. The couple also received CMT Music Award for collaborating on Nobody But You.

A close source revealed that Shelton involved Stefani's children during the proposal. She shares three children with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale named Apollo Bowie Flynn, Kingston, and Zuma Nesta Rock. The source disclosed that the singer ensured before he proposes to their mother, all three of them are involved in the excitement.

In fact, Shelton asked Stefani's hand for marriage in a traditional way as he first asked her father and then proposed The Sweet Escape star. The proposal was made in Oklahoma on Oct. 17 and another source revealed that after dating for five years, Shelton wanted to settle down with the lady love.

The couple had spent enough time together during the pandemic and they understood the importance of being together with the right person. Being incredibly busy individuals, they have learned to manage their time and work together. In fact, they work together to ensure that they spend as much time as possible with one another.
