David Beckham was recently dubbed creepy and weird for kissing his 9-year-old daughter, Harper on the lips.

Victoria Beckham shared the adorable photo of her husband and only daughter on her Instagram account. But several people lambasted David by saying that kissing his daughter on the lips is inappropriate.

David seemed unfazed by all the comments this time around. But years ago, he felt the need to defend himself after he shared another photo of himself kissing Harper on the lips.

The athlete said that he and Victoria are very affectionate towards their children. And they also grew up in a house where they were always kissed and hugged by their parents. As such, they're raising their four children in the same way.

According to YOU, the Beckhams have been criticized for every single thing that they’ve been doing since time immemorial.

In 2005, the couple was slammed for allowing their daughter Harper to still use a pacifier when she was already 4 years old. Critics and experts accused David and Victoria of trying to cling on to Harper as their baby because she’s their youngest child.

After one expert questioned the couple’s decision to allow Harper to use pacifiers when it could delay her speech, David fired back by asking how people keep commenting on their parenting techniques.

He said that as parents, he and Victoria do whatever will comfort their kids especially when they’re not feeling well.

The Beckhams were also slammed when they revealed that their daughter celebrated her birthday at Buckingham Palace. Harper also had the opportunity to meet a real-life Princess – Princess Eugenie.

Critics were quick to say that the Beckhams are using their money to give their kids everything that they want. But David clarified that his family was just invited to an event at Buckingham Palace, and they didn’t throw Harper a party there.

In 2013, critics also accused Victoria of exploiting her kids when she allowed Romeo to grace his first fashion show at 10 years old. The now teenager walked the catwalk opposite Cara Delevingne.

And when Cruz was 11 years old, David and Victoria shared videos of their son singing. Their critics immediately accused them of trying to encourage Cruz to be like Justin Bieber.
