Queen Elizabeth Allegedly Cancels Christmas Plans Due To COVID-19 Restrictions
Queen Elizabeth, allegedly, canceled her Christmas plans with the royal family due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to New Idea, there is currently a rule of six imposed in the United Kingdom. This means that only groups of six or less can hang out together.
Since the queen has such a huge family, it is unlikely for all of them to gather together in Sandringham on Christmas Day. But it is possible for certain members of the royal family to visit the queen in groups.
For instance, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their kids may head to Sandringham together as a family. The Yorks may also visit the queen as a family, and Prince Edward and his family could also do the same.
According to Express, senior royal aides are struggling to plan the queen’s Christmas celebration because of the pandemic. However, New Idea claimed that the queen has already canceled her wedding plans altogether when she hasn’t.
The tabloid has been publishing dubious claims about the queen and the royal family for years. Last month, the tabloid claimed that the queen’s crown jewels were stolen.
A source told the tabloid that only a few members of the royal family know where the queen keeps her precious jewels. So, it’s possible that it might have been an inside job.
The insider also seemingly insinuated that among the members of the royal family, Markle is the one that could take the queen’s crown jewels without permission.
Months earlier, the tabloid claimed that Prince William and Middleton have taken over the queen. But upon closer inspection, the article is just about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge taking on more engagements because the queen is at high-risk for COVID-19.
However, this doesn’t mean that they are taking over the queen’s role and will become the next king and queen consort of the United Kingdom.
Earlier this year, the tabloid also claimed that the queen gave Prince Harry and Markle a stark warning that they could never get a divorce.
Following the split of Peter and Autumn Phillips, the queen, allegedly, told the Sussexes that they cannot follow the former couple’s footsteps.
Back then, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Canada. And the queen, allegedly, spoke with them and told them that they need to make their marriage work no matter what.
The queen never told the couple this. But if she did, she’d be happy to know that Prince Harry and Markle are still together.
