Meghan Markle, Prince Harry No Plans To Leave The United States, Relocate To Different Home
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will, reportedly, stay in the United States for good.
A royal source recently Hello! magazine that there’s no reason for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to leave the country and relocate elsewhere.
And the fact that they purchased a $14-million property is proof that they’ll be in the United States for the long haul.
The source also said that Prince Harry and Markle are now living in their forever home, which they’ve never had before. After they tied the knot, the couple lived in Frogmore Cottage, which was the house given to them by Queen Elizabeth.
After their Megxit, Prince Harry and Markle moved to Canada for less than three months. And they stayed at a property that they rented.
Shortly after, the couple moved to the United States, and they stayed in Beverly Hills. According to reports, Prince Harry and Markle stayed at their friend’s house rent-free.
In July, it was announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex purchased their first home together. And they, reportedly, paid $5 million for the property, and the rest of the amount was loaned at a bank.
Meanwhile, the source’s revelation came on the heels of rumors that Prince Harry is struggling in the United States. Tabloids have been claiming that the Duke of Sussex wants to return to the United Kingdom for good. However, he couldn’t, allegedly, convince Markle to join him.
In May, Globe claimed that Prince Harry and Markle got into a huge fight after the latter found out that her husband was planning to return to the United Kingdom.
A source said that the Duke of Sussex always wanted to live a quiet life away from the royal family. But he was surprised to learn that his life would become more public when he moves to the United States.
So, when Prince Harry told Markle that he wants to return to the UK, the Suits alum was enraged. However, this story was evidently just made up by the tabloid.
Prince Harry and Markle have no plans to return to the United Kingdom anytime soon because the US is their permanent home. But the Duke of Sussex would have to return to the UK if he wants to avoid paying huge taxes.
In January, the couple will also fly to the UK to attend their court hearing against Mail on Sunday.
