Tyra Banks, allegedly, wants to quit Dancing With the Stars halfway through the season.

According to National Enquirer, Banks couldn’t handle the endless criticisms being thrown her way. And she feels that quitting the hosting gig is the right thing to do.

A source told the tabloid that Banks regret her decision to accept the hosting gig and replace Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.

And the insider also said that former Dancing With the Stars contestant Anne Heche is upset with Banks for eliminating her from the competition. Banks also made a mistake when announcing the name of the bottom two pairs.

However, America’s Got Talent judge has made it clear time and again that it wasn’t her fault. After all, she was just repeating the names being thrown to her earpiece.

Heche was, allegedly, not thrilled. And the actress drove off the DWTS lot without talking to press members.

Banks, allegedly, thinks that just because she has experience hosting that she doesn’t have to prepare ahead of every live taping. She doesn’t also, allegedly, want to accept criticisms and feedback from the production team. As such, the producers couldn’t help but feel frustrated with her.

The source also claimed that the ratings for Dancing With the Stars plummeted since Banks hosted the program. And they have already lost more than a million viewers this month compared to October 2019.

However, the tabloid’s claims are incorrect due to a slew of reasons. First, it wasn’t Banks' fault that she announced the wrong pair in the bottom two.

On her Twitter account, Banks immediately clarified that the wrong names were written in the cards. She also said that things like these happen on live television.

Gossip Cop also busted the tabloid for saying that Heche was safe from elimination because she wasn’t. Ellen DeGeneres’ ex-girlfriend was also in the bottom two, and Banks announced her name before the blunder.

It was the three judges that decided to save the other pair from elimination. So, it’s unlikely that Heche is upset with Banks. After all, the model didn’t have anything to do with the actress getting the boot.

Heche has never also said that she’s upset with Banks in any way. After her stint in Dancing With the Stars, the actress just went on with her life and she never bashed Banks.
