Prince William Pays Touching Tribute To Prince Philip, Prince Charles In His Latest Instagram Post
Prince William paid a touching tribute to Prince Philip and Prince Charles for paving the way for him to understand and love the natural world.
On the official Instagram account for Kensington Palace, it was revealed that Prince William launched the Earth Shot Prize a fortnight ago after he was inspired by his grandfather and father.
The Duke of Cambridge said that he picked up on the fact that Prince Philip started caring about the natural world a long time ago. And Prince William is also inspired by Prince Charles’ care about the environment.
This year, Prince William launched RE: TV, which is a new series that will feature short online films about possible solutions to the climate crisis.
Meanwhile, Kensington Palace also revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton baked poppy cupcakes to raise funds for the United Kingdom Armed Forces.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, reportedly, asked Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to help them bake the poppy cupcakes. And the royal couple had the treats delivered to the Royal British Legion’s Norfolk care home.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have been making headlines this month after they made their first public speaking debut while speaking with Sir David Attenborough.
The three young royals asked Attenborough questions about spiders and animals in the clip. And royal fans couldn’t help but gush over Prince William and Middleton’s three children.
Some of them also noticed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have very different accents. According to Daily Star, Prince George has an Essex accent that’s similar to Prince William and Prince Harry.
Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, has the queen’s accent, which is similar to Middleton.
Professor Jane Setter, a phonetics teacher at the University of Reading, talked about the royal sibling’s accent and said that Prince George sounds very Southern Standard British English with features of Estuary English.
But the only feature of Estuary English that Prince George has is when he pronounced words with the letter “l” like animals.
Dr. Geoff Lindsey, a pronunciation specialist, said that Estuary English makes the letter “l” sound like the letter “w.” As such, when the young royal said “animal,” he sounded as though he was saying “animaw.”
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have yet to make their first official engagements because they’re still very young. But Prince William and Middleton have been bringing them along during some of their royal events and activities.
