Dua Lipa Speaks About 'Completely Free’ Access of HealthCare In The UK With Senator Bernie Sanders
It has been self-evident that Senator Bernie Sanders is vigorous concerning universal health care. During his chat with English singer and songwriter Dua Lipa, he has certified that free and accessible health care is already being done.
The Senator posted their video chat on his Twitter
Lipa self-proclaimed that she grew up with free access to health care and would want to understand why people are not protesting for the benefit.
Sanders confidently replied to Lipa's statement and explained that many people in America, for some types of reasons, do not know how the health care systems work, be it in the UK or Australia or Canada.
Sanders added asking Lipa a question which he hoped that American viewers and her fans would listen to. He asked Lipa how much it would cost if somebody in her family gets sick or how much it costs her if they need to be taken to the hospital.
I hope Americans watching this will listen to what @DUALIPA has to say about health care in the UK.

Guaranteeing health care as a right isn’t radical. It’s what every other major country already does. pic.twitter.com/g1DYYSdzAk
Lipa abruptly answered that it's completely free and added that they consider National Health Service a right for the Brits.
Sanders then added a follow-up question that if somebody she knows would end up with a severe illness and stayed in the hospital for a month, how much would it cost them as soon as they are released from the hospital. Lipa straightforwardly answered that it's completely free and chuckles.
Sanders threw his last question asking Lipa that when Brits lose their jobs, they ever lose access to their health care benefits. The English singer directly answered with, "No, not at all," and added that she thinks it's sad that many people have lost their jobs during this pandemic and, at the same time, lose their health care.
The Vermont Senator agreed to what Lipa said. He also emphasized that when people get sick and go to the hospital or doctor of their choice, they do not have to pay out of pocket since it is publicly funded, not free but publicly funded in a progressive way, which they call Medicare For All.
Pros and Cons of Medicare for All
In an article published by the NY Times, the Medicare For All Act was introduced by Sanders in the Senate.
Sanders' proposal sets up a whole new government insurance system adding more benefits than Medicare. With the proposed generous government system, everyone in the United States would have access to health insurance.
It will also cover many services that most health plans have already eliminated, including dental care, eyeglasses, hearing aids, and long-term care for persons with disabilities.
The Thread stated three reasons why Medicare for All should not be implemented.
The first reason states that the Act would significantly burden the taxpayers since it is government sponsored.
Second, a government-run healthcare system may reduce the quality of care given to the people based on a study from the Fraser Institute, Mercatus Center, and Kellogg.
Lastly, a person's ability to control their health care will reduce since existing private health insurance plans are cast out.
