Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney are, reportedly, very close that they’ve been hanging out a lot lately.

According to New Idea, Aniston has been inviting Clooney to attend her socially-distanced parties at home with her Friends co-stars and other A-listers. However, Aniston doesn’t normally invite Clooney’s wife, Amal.

The tabloid’s source seemingly suggested that Amal is not a fan of Aniston and Clooney’s friendship, so she doesn’t have any plans to attend the actress’s parties even if she gets an invite.

But the source claimed that there’s an even bigger reason why Clooney and Aniston have been hanging out. The Clooneys are, allegedly, on the brink of divorce and the Batman & Robin actor is asking Aniston for help.

Since Aniston is friends with her exes, Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, Clooney wants to have the same peace of mind and happiness after filing for divorce from Amal.

Clooney has, allegedly, seen firsthand how Aniston adapted and overcame the pain of her divorces. In fact, the actor teases Aniston by calling her the queen of lonely hearts because of her ability to sympathize with those going through a divorce. 

While it is true that Aniston and Clooney are good friends, it is untrue that the latter is relying on the former for advice and emotional support. After all, the Clooneys aren’t divorcing.

Several tabloids have been creating drama between George and Amal by saying that they have problems in their marriage. In August, Now to Love claimed that the human rights lawyer is humiliated because of her husband’s connections with Ghislaine Maxwell.

According to Prince Andrew’s alleged sexual abuse victim, Virginia Giuffre, Maxwell boasted about her connections with the actor.

Maxwell and Cloone, allegedly, had an intimate encounter in the bathroom when they attended an event.

However, the Ocean’s Eleven star and sources close to him have denied all the tabloid claims. They also said that Clooney is furious at all the claims and he swears they’re not true.

As for Aniston and Clooney’s friendship, the A-listers, reportedly, crossed paths for the first time when the actor appeared in Friends. But Aniston and Clooney became close to each other because the latter is also friends with Pitt.

In 2001, Aniston's photo sitting in between Pitt and Clooney at a fashion show in Milan made headlines. In the photo, the three A-listers are chatting and laughing hysterically.
