Numerologist Glynis McCants recently spoke with National Enquirer to say that certain numbers may have influenced Clarkson’s decision to file for divorce from her manager.

During this month, couples tend to fight and argue nonstop. And they also end up saying things that they may regret.

McCants also said that Clarkson and Blackstock were already in their fifth year of marriage when the singer filed for divorce. And the author of Love by the Numbers said that couples in their fifth year of marriage tend to feel claustrophobic.

They also tend to want the freedom to be away from their partners so that they could do whatever they want. Unfortunately, Clarkson and Blackstock couldn’t have the freedom that they so desired due to the coronavirus pandemic. And this may have triggered the singer’s desire to end her marriage.

McCants said that she usually tells her clients who are in their fifth year of marriage to not file for divorce during this time. After all, they might regret their decision.

The expert also encouraged Clarkson and Blackstock to give their marriage a second try. And she also gave the couple some tips to salvage their relationship like going out on dates every week.

However, this seems to contradict McCants’ claims because she said that Clarkson and Blackstock need to have some freedom away from each other. But she’s also encouraging the couple to go on weekly date nights.

Gossip Cop also debunked the tabloid’s claims by calling the story insulting. They said that numerology ranks with palm-reading and taro cards, which means that it’s not based on science. Rather, it’s more based on superstition.

The rumor-debunking site also busted the tabloid for preying on Clarkson and Blackstock’s divorce to concoct dubious claims about the exes.

During an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson admitted that she didn’t see her divorce coming. The singer also said that her divorce is more than just about her feelings but also the feelings of her kids.
