Camilla Parker Bowles has, reportedly, played a crucial role in destroying the royal family’s reputation one way or another.

In the book Battle of Brothers, royal author Robert Lacey said that during the early years of Camilla and Prince Charles’ relationship, there were reports that the Duchess of Cornwall was always in talks with The Sun.

During Camilla’s conversations with the publication, the royal would, reportedly, reveal some secrets about the royal family.

For instance, Lacey said that Camilla is the one that told the press that Queen Elizabeth wants Prince Charles and Princess Diana to divorce.

The Duchess of Cornwall is also the one that told the media that Prince William has a bad temper after seeing how he would talk back to Prince Charles.

Camilla also told her friends and family about how disrespectful Prince William is towards his dad and the news made headlines shortly after.

At one point, Lacey said that Prince William told Prince Charles that he hates him because of what he did to Princess Diana. But over the years, the father and son’s relationship has improved. Today, Prince Charles and Prince William consider themselves allies.

But despite Camilla’s shocking revelations about Prince William, the dad of three still decided to start a relationship with his stepmom because he knows that Camilla makes Prince Charles happy.

Even though Prince William and Camilla are on good terms now, Lacey still doesn’t think that they are thrilled that she will become Queen Camilla when Prince Charles ascends the throne.

After all, Prince William and Prince Harry still couldn’t help but think that Princess Diana would’ve been given an important role if Prince Charles and Camilla didn’t have an affair.

Meanwhile, Lacey recently talked about Prince Charles’ parenting style while speaking on the Royally Obsessed podcast. He said that the heir to the throne seemingly failed to parent his sons due to his obsession with his wife.

Lacey said that Prince William and Prince Harry grew up to be very close because they relied on each other after Princess Diana’s death. And since Prince Charles failed to parent them because he was busy pursuing Camilla, the siblings had to look after each other.

Prince William and Prince Harry became even closer after the former wed Kate Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s relationship didn’t drive a wedge between Prince William and Prince Harry because the latter was happy to be a third wheel.
