In May, In Touch Weekly claimed that the pro-wrestler was planning on spending $5 million on his wedding. And Cena is also doing all the necessary preparations for his nuptials, from the flowers to Shariatzadeh’s wedding gown.

A source told the tabloid that Cena wants his wedding to be a memorable affair, so he’s decided to invite several A-listers. And the insider also claimed that Cena wanted to fly his then-fiancée to a tropical island where they will tie the knot.

But while Cena was busy planning his wedding, his ex-girlfriend, Nikki Bella, allegedly, slammed him. After all, the Total Bellas star couldn’t, allegedly, believe that Cena was going all out at his wedding. But when they were together, Cena didn’t, allegedly, spend much on the reality TV star.

Earlier this month, Cena and Shariatzadeh tied the knot and their wedding was the exact opposite of what the tabloid previously reported.

According to People, Cena and Shariatzadeh only invited a few guests to their nuptials and reception. And the wrestler didn’t also want to make his wedding a massive event.

The magazine’s report debunks the tabloid’s claims that Cena spent millions on his nuptials.

It is also unlikely for Bella to have been upset with Cena’s wedding planning and all-out spending because this didn’t happen. And Gossip Cop also pointed out that Bella just gave birth to her son, so it’s unlikely for her to be thinking about her ex’s wedding.

Cena and Shariatzadeh didn’t also tie the knot on a tropical island. After all, it’s not really safe for them to travel and to bring their family and friends overseas for their wedding. The couple tied the knot in Tampa, Florida.

Meanwhile, Bella, reportedly, reacted to Cena’s wedding and sources claimed that she’s happy for her ex. The former Dancing With the Stars contestant isn’t also holding any grudges against her ex, so she wishes him nothing but the best.

Cena and Bella were in an on-again-off-again relationship for years. And they were also engaged at one point. However, the reality TV star has long moved on from Cena, and she’s now dating her former pro partner, Artem Chigvintsev.

The couple is also planning their wedding, which will be held outside Los Angeles. Chigvintsev didn’t reveal exactly where their wedding will occur, but he said that he and Bella wouldn’t have to wear masks when they’re there.
