The Weeknd's Fans Goes Savage In Appalling Music Video For 'Too Late'
Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, famously known as The Weeknd, 30, has been gifting his fans and the music industry chart-topping and mesmerizing music for this year. This time, the Canadian singer releases another music video entry, as his head makes the lead role, as per Rolling Stone.
The Weeknd is decapitated in Too Late
The fans are now making a loud noise as The Weeknd dropped the gory music video for the single called Too Late. His previous music videos required the singer-songwriter to indulge in fight scenes, speed car rides, and running; however, this time, he did not have to make much effort.
The music video started with two women, who appear as fans, driving in the road in matched green outfits, with plasters around their head. The two girls were talking about a specific topic when the one driving suddenly hit the break. The matter was caused when the head (yes, the head only) of Abel was lying on the Hollywood hills.
The two women then came out and got the head, recognizing it as Abel's. "Oh my God, is that who I think it is?" one exclaimed. The other woman then said, "He's SO hot!"
The music video went on with the girls swimming in their mansion's pool, donning sultry swimwears and the plasters in their heads from their plastic surgeries. The head of Abel then joined the waters, with the two ladies canoodling on it.
In a Pitchfork finds, the music video concluded when the fans invited a male stripper for entertainment, then savagely removed the head and exchanged it for Abel's. The final segment had The Weeknd come to life while the two women spoons and humps with the singer, Hollywood Life reported.
The unwavering concepts of The Weeknd
Despite the blood-soaking music video of Too Late, fans couldn't help but notice the same red suit The Weeknd wore during the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. Aside from the red suit, it also shows that The Weeknd wore the same black shirt and tie.
In the past, The Weeknd has mesmerized his fans with the straightforward concept of his music videos.
On top of that, the Starboy singer left many in full-awe with his soaring performance at the VMAs. He performed his chart-topping song called Blinding Lights from the album After Hours on the skyscraping building of Hudson Yards' sky deck.
The jaw-dropping performance was added sophistication by a helicopter flying around the building, shooting The Weeknd's performance, and the fireworks display at the end.
