Actor Tom Cruise’s association with the controversial faith Scientology has sparked rumors about him trying to recruit other celebs. A magazine claimed last year that the actor wanted Demi Moore to be his “Scientology Bride.”

Moore and Cruise acted together in a movie called A Few Good Men in the nineties. A year ago, a magazine insisted that the Indecent Proposal actress was about to join the Church of Scientology at the Top Gun star’s request.

A source claimed that Moore and Cruise became close pals and were in touch even after the legal drama was released. However, things seem to have changed now between these two ex-co-stars. 

The unnamed insider mentioned that the actor was going to ask Demi Moore to become his “Scientology bride.” The source feels that they had sizzling on-screen chemistry. However, Cruise and his Scientology friends are excited because of Moore’s possibility to join the church, according to the anonymous informant. 

The tipster further contended that Tom Cruise and Demi Moore were going out on secret dates. These dates also included lectures about L. Run Hubbard, the controversial faith’s founder. 

The magazine purported then that the actress would soon sign up. However, 365 days have passed since the report was published, and Moore has yet to become a Scientologist. The report gave an impression as if the Mission Impossible star is looking for a new bride. 

When Gossip Cop investigated the suspicious report, it came out to be incorrect. A person close to them confirmed that the story was completely made up.

There have been other false reports about the Top Gun actor attempting to coax other celebs to associate with his religion. The magazine that published the report is not quite reliable when it is about writing reports on Cruise. The same publication was busted for trying to recruit Dakota Johnson to the church by going around with her. 

There was another ridiculous story from the outlet, which claimed that his adopted children embraced Scientology, which led to his former wife Nicole Kidman going through a breakdown. However, both these reports were incorrect. 

Just last year, the same magazine came up with another false narrative insisting that Cruise was all set to marry Renee Zellweger. 

In other news, the actor is busy shooting for Mission Impossible 7, his big-budget blockbuster franchise amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The crew and actors have been filming scenes in countries like Norway and Italy. 

Tom Cruise recently arrived onto the film’s set on a water taxi this Wednesday while gearing up to act on some new scenes. The 58-year-old Hollywood legend was waving at his fans and admirers while making his entry along Venice’s beautiful canals, Daily Mail reports.
