Hugh Grant has Survived COVID-19 Quarantine By Becoming A ‘Hairstylist’
It appears that actor Hugh Grant has found a new passion in his life amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The 60-year-old actor told a publication that he survived the quarantine by becoming a “hairstylist” for his children.
Like many other people, the Brit actor had been excessively bored from being stuck at his home after the coronavirus pandemic outbreak. The actor admitted that he started cutting his daughter Barbie’s hair because he was incredibly bored.
However, he soon found out that he was exceptionally talented in this department. So, he started styling all his kids’ hair irrespective of whether they needed a haircut or not. He confessed to tying them to a chair to cut their hair.
The Notting Hill actor further opened up about how his performance has been as a father. He likes to call himself “enchanting” but is unsure about what his kids thought about him as a father.
The versatile actor feels he has an uncanny similarity with his father, who was an ex-army man. He used to be sweet usually but intimidated everyone once in a while.
Grant has observed that even he behaves like his father. There are times when all his children cry when he is in a foul mood. Even his wife and neighbors start crying, according to the actor.
The actor has five kids and he had all of them after he turned 50-years-old. He shares two children with his former girlfriend, Tinglan Hong, and has three kids with his wife, Anna Eberstein.
He got married to Eberstain in May 2018, which was six years after their first child John was born. Hugh Grant confessed that he had a tough time looking after his young children while appearing in GMA. He feels that that is because his kids are quite young while he is old.
At the same time, the actor feels grateful for being a father and says he has no complaints. Rather, he thinks he is one of the lucky ones, Gossip Cop reports.
In other news, the actor is not quite fond of mobile phones. Although the entire world is glued to their smartphones, the Four Weddings and a Funeral actor said he enjoyed his day when he was not carrying his cellphone.
In a recent interview, Hugh Grant revealed that he spent quite a few hours without his mobile while shooting for his upcoming TV series The Undoing. Grant feels it had been a delight to not have his mobile phone with him for long hours, WION reported.
