Blake Shelton has, allegedly, been giving Gwen Stefani empty promises about their engagement.

According to In Touch Weekly, Stefani is already tired of waiting for Shelton to propose to her. But the country musician constantly assures his girlfriend that the proposal will happen very soon.

A source told the tabloid that Shelton told Stefani that their engagement will take place when the time is right. And the No Doubt singer would automatically assume that the right time is during some of the important occasions in their lives.

However, the singer always gets disappointed because Shelton doesn’t propose to her on these special days. And Stefani couldn’t help but think that Shelton is just giving her false hopes about the future of their relationship.

The insider also claimed that the tension between the couple regarding their engagement and wedding is already impacting their work on The Voice. Even though Stefani and Shelton are professionals, the source said that their fans couldn’t help but notice the tensions between them.

The Voice staff and crew members also, allegedly, see Stefani and Shelton bickering nonstop backstage. And they couldn’t help but think that the co-judges shouldn’t have mixed work with pleasure.

However, Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that they are not true. Stefani and Shelton aren’t pressured to get engaged. Since they’ve both been married before, the couple seems to be taking their sweet time before they tie the knot.

Since Stefani and Shelton are not feuding over their engagement and wedding, the tabloid’s claims that there’s tension between them on set can’t possibly be true either.

The Voice co-judges are professionals. And even if they have issues at home, it’s unlikely for them to bicker with each other backstage.
