Ellen DeGeneres has shifted some portion of people’s attention off the toxic work environment scandal – and all it took was a new hairdo. The 61-year-old host who has had a rather rough few months later amid a growing number of allegations against her and her beloved show decided to treat herself to a new hairstyle and it sure is swell. Saying goodbye to her old and iconic gentleman look, Ellen has acquired a pretty cool and sharp one now.

Proud of her new style, Ellen took to Instagram to post a picture of herself feeling all the swag that was present in the room at the time to be grabbed.

Ellen can be seen perching on the sofa, holding a glass of water in one of her hands ready to take a relieving sip, and most importantly other hand is caressing the side of her hair – a true cool star look.  She donned a denim jacket on the top of a black t-shirt paired up pretty well with light brown pants, and to enhance the hippy bit of her look she also a handkerchief or probably a scarf tied around her neck. What more can one ask for.

Her current hairdo gets so close to reminding you of a fast biker or a soccer player who has just won the first prize. Another and more fitting resemblance comes in the form of Justin Bieber – not now, but from the All Around The World era.  Well, that’s all just about her style.

For DeGeneres’ fans probably it’s news to be ignored, unless you want to be baffled, that she credits her look to her close friend and cosmetic mogul Kylie Jenner, who surprisingly has never been seen in that avatar sporting a handkerchief or something.  

Kylies Jenner had never had a haircut of this sort and when she did she was pretty young and that didn’t even look like Ellen’s. It’s not sure what exactly served as an inspiration to Ellen.

It’s possible that she is talking about the overall style from dressing to her expressions, but again Kylie doesn’t dress up similarly. Ellen fans are advised to just let that sink it and it's true she has got all of us confused.

As Ellen is celebrating her new style, her talk show is plunging deeper into hot water as ratings are consistently dropping and the funny essence of the show is missing.
