Shawn Mendes Reveals All His Songs Are On Camila Cabello
Shawn Mendes revealed that Camila Cabello is more than just a singing partner. The 22-year-old singer and songwriter opened up about his relationship with her 23-year-old Cuban duet singer following the new trailer launch.
The I Know What You Did Last Summer singer's latest Netflix documentary dropped titled In Wonder, where he disclosed that all the songs he wrote so far were about Cabello. The singer explained that whenever his songs play on a radio station or anywhere, she always crosses his mind because all the songs he wrote are related to her.
He further said that everything is about Cabello and those songs have always been about her. The singer concluded at the end of the newly released trailer on Oct. 20 while Cabello asked what he meant when he says it’s all about her. Mendes replied to her and said that every song he ever wrote was about her.
Cabello and Mendes have worked together on popular music tracks for half-decade such as I Know What You Did Last Summer that released in 2018 and Senorita, which also dropped in the same year. Both the singers are dating each other since July 2019 and the former Fifth Harmony member appeared in the trailer a couple of times.
The trailer shows behind the scenes footage of Mendes' latest world tour to the fans. Mendes opened up about the intense world tour he had recently and also shed light on his struggles and how he rose to fame.
The singer admitted that he had to pretend like a superman all the time while he noted that the upcoming documentary wouldn't tell a story about a popular singer. The new documentary promised Mendes' fans a sneak peek in the private life of the superstar singer.
The trailer revealed that the documentary would provide "unprecedented access" of not only professional life but also his home tour. The archive of the singer's life will also showcase old footage throughout his career and personal life.
The documentary will premiere on Nov. 23 through Netflix and the fourth album of Mendes named Wonder will be dropped on Dec. 4. The couple has been open about their relationship on the relationship front and never hesitated to take a public platform to show their love. Mendes has been creating music since 2014 and collaborated with Cabello within a year as he kicked off his career.
