The Magic Knights take a vow to protect the kingdom and the inhabitants in Black Clover Episode 148, which is called Becoming the Light That Shines Through the Darkness.

The Magic Knights are ready to protect the kingdom's people like true guardians in the upcoming episode of Black Clover.

In the previous installment, the Devil Believers have to cross the Breed Mountain and get through the border as soon as they can. The Devil Believers have Asta’s grimoire and Nero.

They are aware that they will no longer be in Clover Kingdom’s jurisdiction once they cross the mountain. Moreover, the Magic Knights will have no power over them and will not be able to capture them.

However, it is not easy to cross the region due to excessive Mana presence. People who lack Mana will end up dead.

However, the Devil Believers want to take the chance and complete the mission. Meanwhile, Asta, Noelle, and others inform Captain Yami that they have located the Devil Believers.

Yami is also made aware of the number of Believers. However, they seem to can’t reach Yami due to the messed-up Mana in the region. Asta tries to climb the mountain all by himself, Noelle stops her but the former is worried about Nero’s safety.

Asta wants to talk to the Devil Believers and sort the issue, but Noelle thinks that it is beyond having a dialogue with the Devil Believers.

Finally, Noelle agrees to go with Asta’s plan. In the meantime, the Devil Believers struggle to pass through the mountain. It is snowing heavily as one of the Devil Believers almost gives up.

Later, they think that the Mana in the region will weaken due to the full moon. Meanwhile, Asta manages to catch up to the Devil Believers and confronts them.
