As the future of the British Monarchy, Prince William is often put into the spotlight. Recently the 2nd-in-line to the throne has been actively campaigning for his newest project.

This has opened several comparisons that his younger brother, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been doing.

Rober Lacey, royal author and trusted advisor published his newest book ‘Battle of Brothers’ wherein he claims that the royal couple, Harry and Meghan, are ‘too extreme.’

According to Lacey, the royal family has found the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as ‘too woke’ and forward-thinking.

Despite that, Mr. Lacey believes that Prince William is doing a much better job than Harry and William when it comes to ‘woke’ causes.

The author sat down with fellow royal commentators in The Royalty TV, as reported by Express UK. Lacey alleges that Prince William has found a better balance between handling royal protocols and progressive causes.

He continued on by saying that Harry and Meghan are extreme in handling such cases and that the royal family has to include reaching out to everyone, not just to the young and trendy people.

"The Royal Family's not got to appeal just too young and trendy people. It's got to mean something to everybody and I think William has found the secret of doing that,” Lacey said during the sit-down.

When asked by the interviewer in Royal TV if he found William ‘less preachy’ that the Sussex’s, Lacey agreed, saying that yes, he did.

Harry and Meghan were also instructed to follow the step of Prince William. New Idea reports that before their eventual exit from the royal family, the Sussex’s were guided into handling their patronages in a better manner.

Prince William has been actively campaigning ‘Earthshot,’ a project he launched together with Sir David Attenborough.

The future King of England has taken over the climate change activism from his father, Prince Charles, who is seen to accede the throne in the coming years.

Harry and Meghan, on the other hand, are concentrating on different causes. Meghan has been accepting key speaking jobs for women activism. She was involved in the past week with Fortune’s Most Powerful Women event.  

‘Battle of Brothers’ also offers an insight into other pivotal events that shaped up the royal family now, such as Prince William and Prince Harry’s alleged rift.

Lacey writes that the brothers' rift goes a long way back, not just before Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage.
