Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas, reportedly, came closer in 2020. However, the pair have not been seen together for a while now. Are they heading towards a breakup?

A magazine claims that the Good will Hunting star and de Armas are about to split. The actor had to go to Ireland for shooting and connected with his reported girlfriend over the phone.

A source told the publication that they do not share a great connection and are bickering over the phone. The insider further added that the Knives Out actress feels lonely in Los Angeles. 

It seems she is complaining about the actor to her friends. The actress, reportedly, feels as if she was a hired help who has simply been doing household work in his home.

The source added that the duo has decided to chill out for a few weeks and then review the situation thereafter. Their romance may lack passion now, according to the source. 

Although it is correct that the Argo actor and his girlfriend have not met each other recently, it is because the actor has been away from the country as he was busy shooting for the movie Last Duel in Ireland with Matt Damon, his best pal. 

Both Affleck and de Armas have been in the acting profession for quite some time now. So, they realize that their partner has to leave for a while because of their job's demand. Also, the Batman v Superman actor came back to California recently and reunited with his girlfriend (via Daily Mail)

The story was incorrect in the first place as the couple did not go through a trial separation, Gossip Cop reports. It is not as if the duo is separating for several weeks now. Had the COVID-19 pandemic did not exist; Ana de Armas might have gone to Ireland to be with Ben Affleck. 

Also, the publication has a habit of publishing reports on strong relationships ending all of a sudden. For instance, it published a report in May that George Clooney and Amal Clooney’s marriage was falling apart because of the coronavirus lockdown. 

The same tabloid insisted that Barack Obama and his wife were on the verge of getting a divorce. Had this report been true, then the news would have splashed on all major tabloids. 

The publication also wrote that Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell had a breakup, which was also incorrect. None of the above-mentioned couples had split and it is the magazine's habit to pick up celeb couples randomly and publish ridiculous stories about them. 

As of date, there is no proof to substantiate that Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have had a breakup.
