The story of Meghan Markle’s misery inside the royal firm is no secret. The Duchess of Sussex has been bombarded with scrutiny ever since she was reported to be dating Prince Harry.

Meghan and Harry’s love story was not at all what the Palace expected. It was described to be a ‘whirlwind romance’ and that from the very start, the relationship was already an issue within the royal walls.

In the newest book of royal historian and advisor to Netflix’s the crown Robert Lacey, he confirms in ‘Battle of Brothers’ that Meghan Markle was treated poorly in the royal household.

Lacey explains that there was great animosity towards her during Meghan’s stay with the royal family, and the treatment was not great at all.

In an interview with The Sunday Time via Mirror Online, Lacey revealed an explosive claim. The author said that there was someone who ‘hated’ Meghan Markle inside the palace.

The ‘Battle of Brothers’ author continued by explaining that he cannot reveal who the person is, but he claims that the person who hated Meghan was a high-ranking palace official.

Issues of Meghan Markle within the royal household has been nonstop. Recently the news of Queen Elizabeth’s comment on Meghan Markle creating a fuss before her wedding day was also revealed.

Express UK also reported that Meghan Markle was quite a surprising addition to the royal family. Lacey claimed that the royal family expected Harry to marry someone who was a bore, a girl named Henrietta and would live in the country.

Meghan Markle’s entrance into the royal folds was an unprecedented issue. The royal family was said to have had a big problem with the fact that Meghan Markle was an American actress and a divorcee.

The ex-actress past also created a huge deal and coming up to the royal wedding. Several issues arose that brought negative publicity unto the royal family.

Author Robert Lacey further revealed that Meghan’s ‘wokeness’ clashed with the other royal family members. He says that the royal household is finding it hard to do ‘woke,’ but Meghan is a natural at it.

The approval of Harry’s marriage to Meghan was a big risk for the royal family. Harry and Meghan's dating was very short, which made things complicated for the other family members to accept.

Meghan and Harry have discontinued their royal service after announcing their departure last March 2020. The couple is currently based in California in the US.
