Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship could allegedly become much worse than it is now if the Duke of Sussex will produce a documentary on Princess Diana.

In recent weeks, there have been claims that one of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first projects on Netflix is a documentary on the Princess of Wales. However, Prince William is allegedly not thrilled.

While speaking with True Royalty TV, royal commentator Dan Wootton said that he’s also strongly against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex producing a documentary on Princess Diana.

Prince William and Prince Harry both agreed to never produce a documentary on the late royal because they feel they've said everything about Princess Diana already. 

As such, if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would go against the former's agreement with Prince William, it will just throw salt in the wounds that already damaged the brothers' once close relationship.

Prince William and Prince Harry have allegedly been feuding for years. But Prince Harry’s relationship with Markle was reportedly what drove the final wedge in their troubled relationship.

According to reports, the Duke of Cambridge tried to talk Prince Harry out of marrying Markle. After all, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already been dating for a few months then.

In the book Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said that Prince William was just concerned about his brother. However, Prince Harry saw his brother’s advice as a snub.

Prince Harry was also upset when Prince William tapped Princess Diana’s brother to convince him not to wed the Suits alum.

In the book Battle of Brothers, royal author Robert Lacey said that Prince William and Prince Harry’s plans for the future also drove a wedge between them.

Lacey noted that Prince William and Prince Harry used to be inseparable. But they are now separated not just by the distance between their homes, but also their contradictions that date back to their childhood. 

The royal siblings' relationship is also affected by Prince Charles and Princess Diana's ill-fated marriage. And the conflicts between the heir and spare in every generation not just between Prince William and Prince Harry. 

Prince William and Prince Harry have not publicly commented on their relationship and issues.
