Prince Harry Snubs Royal Family For Christmas In Sandringham, Rumor Debunked
Prince Harry has been accused of snubbing the royal family for Christmas in Sandringham for the second year in a row.
According to New Idea, Prince Harry has a new Hollywood dad and they have become so close. The Duke of Sussex and David Foster are allegedly attached to the hip that they’ve decided to celebrate Christmas together with their wives Meghan Markle and Katharine McPhee, respectively.
A source told the tabloid that Prince Harry is intentionally snubbing the royal family and Prince Charles in particular for the holidays because he has a new father figure in his life. And the heir to the throne is allegedly heartbroken.
“Charles knows what this means, and it hurts. It’s clear to one and all that Harry no longer sees the royals as his family. It’s believed the Sussexes are hosting a Christmas extravaganza at their new home in Montecito,” the source said.
However, Gossip Cop immediately debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that there is still no confirmation when it comes to the royal family’s Christmas celebrations this year.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is still possible for the royal family to celebrate the holidays virtually. It is important to note that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are in their 90s. And they are susceptible to the deadly virus.
As such, it would be best if they are not exposed to any risks or dangers that may come from celebrations with a huge group of people.
The rumor-debunking site also said that it is not true that Prince Harry has cut ties with the royal family. After all, there are reports that he would return to the United Kingdom before the year ends.
Markle’s husband also works with the Commonwealth Trust, which means that Prince Harry still has some responsibilities with his grandmother.
Gossip Cop also called the claims that Foster is a father figure to Prince Harry as preposterous. Foster’s wife previously told Access Hollywood that the musician and Prince Harry are like father and son. However, this doesn’t mean that Foster is a father figure to the Duke of Sussex.
And McPhee didn’t also say this to hurt Prince Charles’ feelings. As such, the American Idol finalist’s comment cannot be used as evidence that Prince Harry wants nothing to do with the royal family.
